The North Wayne Unit School District Board of Education will hold a special meeting on Friday at 5:15 p.m. at Cisne Middle School in the staff workroom.
The meeting will begin with the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by roll call.
Board members will then enter executive session to discuss personnel matters, including employment, compensation, discipline, and performance of district employees, as well as student discipline, litigation, collective bargaining, and potential property transactions.
Specific items for discussion include a first grade teaching position and a special education position at Mt. Erie Elementary School.
Following executive session, the board is expected to take action on the discussed items, including consideration of candidates for both positions.
