
Ghirardelli is recalling several powdered beverage mixes due to possible Salmonella contamination.
The company said the recall is a precautionary measure following an earlier recall involving potentially contaminated milk powder supplied by California Dairies, Inc.. The milk powder is used as an ingredient in the affected beverage products.
According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the recall includes 30-pound chocolate flavored frappe mix, 30-pound classic white frappe mix, and other bulk products primarily distributed for food service use.
No illnesses have been reported in connection with the recall.
