


Wayne City High School recognized its graduating seniors during Senior Awards Day on Friday, May 1st with a total of $397,153 awarded to students and recent graduates.
Alayna White was named Senior of the Year, highlighting her achievements among this year’s graduating class.
The event also included special recognition for Lea Neff, who was honored for 24 years of service with the Wayne City High School Scholarship Foundation. Neff has been involved with the foundation since its beginning.
Over the past 24 years, the foundation has awarded a total of $1,234,938.22 in scholarships. This year alone, $121,100 was distributed to Wayne City High School seniors and graduates.
School officials praised both the students and the continued community support that makes the scholarship program possible.
