58-year-old Samuel L. Garman of Grayville, has been sentenced to four years in the Illinois Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to a Class-2 felony charge of burglary. Garman entered his guilty plea last week in Edwards County Circuit Court in Albion. The case was originally filed in May of last year. In addition to the prison sentence, Garman was also ordered to pay court costs. As part of the plea agreement, a theft charge was dropped.
