A reminder to the public that the Illinois Secretary of State, Department of Motor Vehicles facility in Fairfield has temporarily relocated to City Hall for the remainder of May while renovations are completed at the licensing office on North Market Street.
Officials said the improvements are intended to help streamline licensing and vehicle registration services.
The DMV office will continue operating out of Fairfield City Hall through the end of the month, with workers expecting to return to the normal location by June 1st.
Normal business hours will remain in effect during the temporary relocation. The office will continue to operate Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
