Wayne County Sheriff’s Department and Clay County Ambulance personnel responded to a crash Saturday on County Road 25 in Keith Township.
Deputies says that 62-year-old Flora resident, James Glassford was driving a 2016 Chevrolet 1500 northbound on the rural roadway when the vehicle left the east side of the road, traveled through a driveway near 2375 North, then crossed back over the roadway before coming to a stop on the west side. Glassford told deputies that he “didn’t know what happened” and that he had recently began taking a new medication and believed it may have contributed to him blacking out while driving.
Glassford was transported by Clay County Ambulance to Clay County Hospital in Flora for treatment of injuries.
