The Fairfield Public Swimming Pool at Leo French Park, is preparing to open for the 2026 summer season on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25th. Public swimming hours will be from 1 to 5 p.m.
The pool has announced swim lesson sessions, party availability, and season pricing information for the summer.
Public swim lessons will be offered during six weekly sessions, including June 15-19, June 22-26, June 29 through July 3, July 6-10, July 20-24, and July 27-31.
Pool officials said lesson spots typically fill quickly and encouraged families to register early.
Private pool parties will also be available throughout the week and on weekends. Party times include Mondays and Wednesdays from 7 to 9 p.m.; Fridays from 7 to 9 p.m. or 9 to 11 p.m.; Saturdays from 6 to 8 p.m. or 8 to 10 p.m.; and Sundays from 6 to 8 p.m. or 8 to 10 p.m.
Pricing for the 2026 season includes:
Daily swim admission: $5
Individual summer pass: $100
Family summer pass: $200 for up to five household members, plus $40 for each additional member
Lap swimmer pass: $50
Six-swim punch card: $25
Public swim lessons: $20 per child, per week
Private parties: $250 for two hours
Free swim rental: $500 for four hours or $250 for two hours on Saturdays or Sundays if available
Water volleyball: $100 per team, with up to 10 players and at least two females per team
Water fitness: $5 per session
Pool officials noted that most pricing remains similar to recent summers, although public swim lesson fees increased this year.
