The Groff Library is inviting the public to step back in time and learn about the roots of Grayville during the Gray Family Cemetery Tour, set for June 4th at 6 p.m. The tour will take place at the historic Gray Family Cemetery, located at the corner of South Street and Highway 1 in Grayville.
Organizers say the event will spotlight the stories of Grayville’s early residents, offering a unique glimpse into the town’s rich history. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the cemetery grounds, hear tales of the community’s founding families, and discover how Grayville has grown over the years.
“We’re excited to share the history of Grayville’s early residents and help the community connect with its heritage,” said a spokesperson from Groff Library. “The cemetery tour is a wonderful way to honor those who shaped our town and to spark interest in local history.”
The event is free and open to the public. For more information, visit grofflibrary.org or contact the Groff Library.
