Another High School in the region has an employee that is being investigated due to inappropriate actions involving students. Nashville Community High School has confirmed that an employee has been placed on administrative leave while an investigation involving alleged inappropriate conduct with students is underway.
According to information released by Superintendent Brad Turner, the district became aware of a pending investigation involving one of its employees. The employee was placed on administrative leave effective May 25th pending the outcome of the investigation.
Reports indicate the allegations involve claims of inappropriate and unprofessional interactions with female students and athletes.
In a statement issued Wednesday, Turner said the district will fully cooperate with law enforcement officials during the investigation and will take any additional action deemed appropriate as more information becomes available.
