The Wabash Valley Arts Council has announced that registration for the WVC Summer Theatre Camp, set for July 6-10 at the Brubeck Theatre, is filling quickly. Only 18 spots remain for the 8-18 age group (out of 44), and just 10 spaces are available for the 6-7 age group (out of 16).
The popular camp will once again be hosted by Missoula Children’s Theatre, bringing a week of acting workshops, choreography, dance, singing, and performing a musical—all in just five days. Theatre professionals from Missoula will guide participants through the creative process.
Registration is $75 for ages 8-18 (full five-day camp) and $50 for children entering 1st grade through age 7 (3.5-day camp). Registration and payment can be completed online at cur8.com/25806/project/139471 or by calling 618-263-5164 to arrange payment by check or in person.
After registering, families are asked to immediately email stroughmattd@iecc.edu with the student’s name, age, parent’s name, phone number, current email, mailing address, and a list of those authorized to drop off and pick up the child. Registration closes June 15, or sooner if spots fill. Refunds will be available until June 15th, but not after registration closes.
Organizers urge families to secure their spot as soon as possible to take part in this unique summer theatre experience.
