A Chicago man has been sentenced after pleading guilty to a domestic battery charge in Wayne County Circuit Court.
Xavier Miller, 40, entered a guilty plea via Zoom before Judge, Evan Owens from Franklin County to Domestic Battery, a Class 4 felony.

Under the terms of a sentencing agreement, Miller was sentenced to two years of probation and ordered to pay court costs.

He was also sentenced to serve 72 hours in the Wayne County Jail. However, Miller was given credit for three days already served, satisfying the jail portion of the sentence.

As part of the plea agreement, one additional count filed in the case was dismissed.
