After four decades at the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds, the Street Machine Nationals announced Friday that the 2026 event will be the final scheduled show held in Du Quoin.

Organizers described this weekend’s (Friday -Sunday, June 5-7) event as “One Last Run,” celebrating 40 years of horsepower, memories, friendships, and the community that helped make the show a tradition for generations of automotive enthusiasts.

The annual event has long been one of Southern Illinois’ premier attractions, drawing thousands of car owners, exhibitors, and spectators from across the country each year. Over the past four decades, Street Machine Nationals has become one of the signature events hosted at the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds.

Event organizers are encouraging both longtime attendees and first-time visitors to attend the 2026 show, calling it a final opportunity to be part of Street Machine Nationals history in Du Quoin.

No reason for the event’s departure from the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds was immediately announced. Organizers have not indicated whether the event will relocate to another venue following the 2026 show.
