The Mt. Vernon Outland Airport will host Youth Day at the Air Race Classic Terminus on Saturday, June 27th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event promises a full day of aviation fun and learning for the whole family, with free admission for all attending.
Youth Day offers children and families the chance to meet pilots, visit aircraft, and participate in hands-on aviation activities. Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to explore collegiate aviation programs and learn about exciting careers in the field. Special features include hands-on exhibits, the chance to ask pilots questions, and a focus on inspiring young women to pursue their dreams in aviation.
