The Fairfield Public Swimming Pool is set to launch its new Water Volleyball League, giving local residents an opportunity to enjoy friendly competition while cooling off during the hot summer months.
League games will begin Tuesday and will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 8:00 to 10:00 PM at the Fairfield Public Swimming Pool.
Teams will be co-ed, with at least two women required on each team, and rosters may include up to 10 players. To sign up, teams can message the pool’s Facebook page or call the pool while it is open at 618-842-9976. Information needed for registration includes the name and phone number of a primary contact person, the number of players on the team, and a list of all players by the first game. The cost to participate is $100 per team for the entire summer season.
