Edwards County 4-H is inviting area youth to participate in two upcoming photography workshops designed to help members improve their photography skills and prepare for upcoming competitions.
Participants may attend one or both sessions, which will focus on photography basics, camera settings, and techniques for capturing quality images.
The first workshop will be held tonight (Tuesday) from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and will feature Heather Longbons at Every Beautiful Thing Studio. The session will focus on outdoor photography and provide hands-on learning opportunities.
A second workshop is scheduled for June 18th from 6 to 8 p.m. at French Creek Photography Studio, where Carissa Weaver will teach studio and indoor photography techniques.
The workshops are intended to help 4-H members prepare for the annual 4-H General Project Show as well as the local Illinois Extension Photo Contest.
Registration is available online at go.illinois.edu/PhotographyWorkshop.
