Velma J. Webb, 88, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026 in Eldorado Rehab and Healthcare, Eldorado, IL. Velma was born September 27, 1937 in Bartelso, IL. Velma was a daughter of William “Bub” and Bernest (Marshall) Brown. On December 25, 1956 she married Gailen Webb.
Velma was a beautician in McLeansboro, IL.
Survivors include a son, Robin and Teresa Webb and a daughter Cindy and Chris Ragan. Grandchildren Kristopher (Ashleigh) McCormick, Courtney (Bobby) Robertson, Kassi (Jesse) Seals, Callie (Adam) Johnson, Corey Webb, Cord (Kolby Whitesell) Webb, Chandan Ragan and Allee Ragan. Also surviving is a sister Helen and Frank Miller along with twelve great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Velma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gailen, two sisters, Jannia Lee Moyer and Maxine Kecton a brother Bill Brown and a great grandson Axton Cash Robertson.
There will be a graveside service at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 5, 2026 with Reverend Doctor Ken Cook officiating.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lick Creek Church.
