Sondra Dee Gill, 62, of Grayville, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026. She was born on Friday, May 8, 1964, in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Waldo Brown (Brownie) and Karen Kay (Moore) Schoenheit. Sondra married Jeffrey Lewis Gill on May 7, 1983, and together they shared 43 years of marriage. She loved spending time with her children and spent countless hours of playing games and having sleepovers with her grandkids. Sondra loved spending time outdoors with her best buds, fishing, rock hunting, boating and magnet fishing. Now she is off on a new adventure.
In addition to her husband, Jeffrey Gill, of Grayville, IL, Sondra is survived by her children Jeramy Joseph Gill and Shannon Marie Jordan; grandchildren, Tidus (Miranda Hammond) Cox, Tori Gill, Kerra Jordan and Nathaniel Jordan; a sister, DeAnna Lundy; and nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date with family and friends. Roberts and Cook Funeral Service has been entrusted with arrangements.
