Fairfield City Council To Meet

The Fairfield City Council is set to meet this Tuesday night at 6 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall for their monthly meeting.

On the agenda, along with the approval of minutes of the May 12th meeting and the Executive Session Minutes of the April 14th meeting, is recognition of those who have recently retired from the city of Fairfield.  They include Rod Greene, Carroll Dugger, Teresa Robinson, Judy Read, Brad Moore and Joseph Clark.  Also listed is Business Tax District Presentations from Andrew Gifford, Mindy’s Sew Shop, Napa, and Yellin’ Helen’s.

Other items on the agenda include a request for the City Hall Parking Lot Project on the Business Tax District.  The council is expected to award bids for two General Maintenance Projects, the sealing of various streets and pavement patching.  Also listed is the awarding of bids for the City Hall Parking Lot Project, a resolution accepting and approving a Watershed Agreement, and the appointment of a Leadman for Cemetery Sexton and Water Distribution.

The meeting is expected to conclude following a financial report, miscalleneous items and any executive session.
