Mobile home property tax bills have been mailed from the Wayne County Treasurer’s Office. Mobile home owners who did not receive a tax bill are asked to contact the Treasurer’s Office at the courthouse during business hours from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The due date for tax bill payments is July 1. Payments received after that date will incur a late fee of $25 per month, with a maximum penalty of $100. A drop box for payments is located in the west parking lot of the courthouse for after-hours payments. Credit and debit cards are not accepted for payments, only cash or checks.
