A 23-year-old Albion woman has been sentenced in White County Court following a guilty plea to a theft charge.
Jewell Gwaltney pleaded guilty Monday to theft of less than $300 stemming from a 2025 case.
Under the terms of a plea agreement, Gwaltney was sentenced to two years of probation and ordered to pay a $500 fine, along with $87.96 in restitution to Huck’s. She also received a six-month jail sentence that was stayed.
In exchange for the guilty plea, a second 2025 theft case against Gwaltney was dismissed.
