The Wayne County Fair will celebrate its rich farming heritage with an Antique Tractor Show on Saturday, July 11th at the fairgrounds in Fairfield. The event is held in honor of Brent Opell and promises a day of fun, food, and fellowship for the entire community.
Registration for the show will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with awards presented at 3:00 p.m. Participants are asked to enter through the front lawn past the main gate on the fairgrounds. Restrooms and food will be available on the grounds throughout the day.
Attendees can look forward to a display of classic tractors and the chance to win several awards, including Best of Show, Oldest Driver, Best Paint, and Furthest Traveled. In addition, three memorial awards will be given in honor of R.N. O’Daniel, Harlan Opell, and Brent Opell.
