The road that loops around in the Brach Oaks subdivision south of county Road 690N.

Residents are asked to remove all vehicles, trash cans and other objects from affected roadways before work begins.

Hopper noted that some roads in the Brach Oaks Subdivision and along County Road 1800E South West Seventh Street are in need of repair but are expected to see increased heavy truck traffic associated with Ameren’s new transmission line project serving the Mt. Vernon area. Those roads are expected to be used as haul routes for equipment and supplies.

Township officials ask motorists and residents to be patient during the road improvement project and thank the public for their cooperation.
