A Mt. Vernon business is helping support families affected by Sunday night’s deadly tornado by collecting emergency relief donations.
Mt. Vernon Winsupply announced it is accepting donations of bottled water, nonperishable food, hygiene items, blankets, pillows, work gloves, flashlights and batteries. Gift cards are also being collected to assist the Thompson family as recovery and rebuilding efforts continue.
Donations may be dropped off at Mt. Vernon Winsupply, located at 2230 Benton Road in Mt. Vernon. Organizers say donations will be accepted until 4:30 p.m.
