Two gas stations in Wayne County have been sold to a company based in Provo, Utah.
According to reports, the Wayne City station located at 107 North Main Street was purchased from A2 IL Investments of Metropolis for just over $2.04 million.
The Cisne station, located at 600 Central Avenue, was also acquired from A2 IL Investments. The purchase price for that property was slightly more than $2 million.
The combined value of the two transactions exceeded $4 million. Additional details about the new ownership and future plans for the locations have not been released.
