FMH PRESENTS JUNE EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH

Fairfield Memorial Hospital honors an employee each month who has been nominated by their peers for providing extraordinary patient care and customer service within and outside of the Hospital.

Hattie Schoepf, RN, Emergency Department, has been selected as Fairfield Memorial Hospital’s June 2026 Employee of the Month. Since joining Fairfield Memorial Hospital in June 2023, Hattie has become an invaluable member of the Emergency Department team through her dedication, professionalism, and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Known for her dependability and positive attitude, Hattie consistently goes above and beyond in her role. She is frequently willing to pick up additional shifts and step in when staffing needs arise, helping ensure patients continue to receive safe, high-quality care. Her calm demeanor, strong clinical judgment, and willingness to assist wherever needed have earned the respect of her coworkers and providers alike.

Hattie is a passionate patient advocate who is attentive to the needs of those in her care. She is never hesitant to offer thoughtful suggestions that improve patient experiences and departmental processes. Her commitment to excellence extends beyond patient care, as she regularly serves as a preceptor for new staff members, sharing her knowledge and helping others succeed.

Whether responding to a critical emergency, mentoring a new team member, or offering support to a coworker, Hattie exemplifies the teamwork, compassion, and service that define Fairfield Memorial Hospital. Her welcoming smile, easygoing personality, and team-first attitude create a positive work environment and make a lasting impact on both patients and colleagues.

Hattie leads by example, remains calm under pressure, and is always ready to step in wherever needed.
