(Atlanta, GA) — The mother of NFL player Calais Campbell is dead, and his brother is accused of killing her. Ciarre Campbell was arrested early yesterday morning in Atlanta on murder and other charges after police found the body of Nateal Campbell inside her home. Details regarding the case have not been released, but Atlanta police say they’ve dealt with past mental health-related issues at the home before. Calais Campbell is entering his 19th NFL season with the Baltimore Ravens.

Another trade happened earlier in the day when the Lakers received young center Walker Kessler from the Jazz in exchange for two future picks and swaps in the first round. As for signings, Quentin Grimes inked a four-year, 60-million dollar contract with the Lakers, Mitchell Robinson and the Celtics agreed to a three-year pact worth more than 47-million and Norman Powell signed a two-year, 45-million dollar deal to join the Bulls.

(Toronto, ON) — A two-time Stanley Cup champion is heading up north. ESPN reports the Maple Leafs signed Sergei Bobrovsky on Wednesday to a three-year deal worth 21-million dollars. The goaltender helped the Panthers win back-to-back cups in 2024-and-25. Bobrovsky had a 3.07 goals against average last year, but posted a career-worst eight-77 save percentage. Toronto and Florida both missed the playoffs last season.
