IECC To Host Business Lending, Funding Workshops July 14th

The Illinois Small Business Development Center at Illinois Eastern Community Colleges will host two business workshops on Monday, July 14, in the Olney Central College Banquet Room.

A Lender Forum will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, featuring representatives from the U.S. Small Business Administration, 504 corporations, the SBDC, Advantage Illinois, the Illinois Treasurer’s Office and microlenders. Topics will include SBA policy updates, lender match information and upcoming training opportunities.

A second session, Funding Opportunities for Businesses, will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. Speakers will discuss Tax Increment Financing, Enterprise Zone funding, Greater Wabash Regional Planning Commission programs, Advantage Illinois, SBA financing and TrustBank lending options.
