Holy Cross Catholic Parish will host its annual parish picnic on Sunday, August 2nd featuring a full day of food, entertainment, and family activities.
The event will begin at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Parish, located at 5782 Ingraham Lane near Newton.
One of the highlights of the day will be the parish’s family-style chicken dinner, served in the parish hall from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dinner tickets will go on sale at 10:45 a.m. Adult meals are $12, children ages 6 through 12 are $6, and children ages 5 and under will be admitted free.
In addition to the dinner, attendees can enjoy live music throughout the day, bingo, raffle drawings, a country store, inflatables, a dunk tank, pedal tractor pulls, children’s games, and a beer garden. Lunch stand food will also be available throughout the day.
Organizers invite area residents to spend the day with family and friends at the annual community event, which will run from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. on August 2nd.
