The IECC Board of Trustees set to meet this evening at 6 15 at Lincoln College in the Statesman Grill area. There will be dinner prior to the meeting and then there will be the beginning of the meeting that will recognize visitors. They will also take some public comments before going to reports from the trustees, chancellor and presidents.
The board will look at approving the consent agenda including the disposition of minutes, violence prevention plan, emergency response plans, meetings in minutes and a program review of 2023. They will look at first reading and possible approval of first-year housing then also staff recommendations for approval. They’ll also look at the appointment of a board audit committee and the LTC student recreation fee as well as a debt certificate. The debt certificate resolution authorizes the purchase for the installment purchase agreement or paying for the cost of improving district facilities for $7 million or less of general debt obligation certificates. They’ll also look at the tentative budget and a solar proposal.
Under bid committee reports, they will look at bids for OCC theater shop, the Lincoln Traile College 12 fusion splicer kits, Lincoln Trail College electrical service upgrade project and the IECC synchronous learning classrooms.
Under district finances, the board will be looking at the financial report and the approval of financial obligations.
There will be an executive session followed by the approval of executive session, minutes approval of personnel reports, some collective bargaining litigation and other items as listed on the agenda.
