The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Fairfield man less than twenty-four hours after adding him to their “Most Wanted” list yesterday. They announced that Cody L. Massie, of Fairfield, was being added to the list. He was wanted out of Wayne County on an Escape charge after failing to report for his court-ordered sentence to the Illinois Department of Corrections. Wayne County Deputies responded to a residence in Geff, Illinois, and apprehended Massie. Massie is being held in the custody of the Wayne County Jail pending transport to the Illinois Department of Corrections.
