Area residents are invited to cool off this weekend at the Fairfield Swimming Pool at Leo French Park with a series of Free Swims thanks to the generosity of a local business and individuals. The first free swim is this Friday, July 10th, from 7 to 9 p.m., sponsored by Elevation Jiu Jitsu. The second free swim is Saturday afternoon, July 11th, from 1 to 5 p.m., thanks to the generosity of Margaret Boucherie. The weekend of free swims will wrap up on Sunday afternoon, July 12th, from 1 to 5 p.m., thanks to a sponsorship from an anonymous donor. These events are open to the public and are intended to provide a fun, safe activity for families over the weekend.
