Glenda Faye Connor, 63, of Carmi passed away on July 7, 2026, at Good Samaritan in Mt. Vernon, IL. She was born on September 21, 1962, in Bath, Michigan, the daughter of Donald and Helen (Irvin) Russell. Glenda worked at the Wabash Nursing Home for 15 years and she loved working with her co-workers because they had fun when they worked together. She loved her family, but especially her grandkids.
Glenda is survived by her children, Pamela (James) Pack of Carmi, Patricia (Paul) James of Carmi, Misty Holland of Bush, IL, and Jeremy Connor of Bush, IL; siblings, Roy (Vicki) Russell of New Haven, IL, Darrell (Stephen) Russell of Mt. Vernon, IN, Donnie (Glenda) Russell of Kempner, Texas, and Corkie Pennington of Carmi; grandchildren, Angel, Roxy, James, Caydon, Alexis, Izaiah, Harley, Cortney, Hailey, Jeremy Jr., Devan, and Megan. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and one grandson.
Funeral Services for Glenda Faye Connor, 63, of Carmi will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, July 13, 2026, at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Burial will follow in Union Ridge Cemetery in Norris City. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Campbell Funeral Home to assist the family with services and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home, 609 W.
