On December 6, 2014, Mike married the love of his life, Darlene Smith. Beginning a beautiful journey built on faith, laughter, friendship and unconditional love. Together they built a life centered on family, commitment and countless treasured memories.
Mike dedicated 41 years of his life to working for Norfolk Southern Railroad Corporation where he earned the respect of his coworkers through his strong work ethic, dependability and dedication. He took great pride in providing for his family and approached his career with the same loyalty and integrity that defined every aspect of his life.
Outside of work, Mike was an avid hunter who found peace and joy in the outdoors. He enjoyed training and running bird dogs. Whether he was in the woods before sunrise or sharing hunting stories with family and friends, those moments brought him happiness.
