Frontier Community College Business and Industry is offering a Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor Training course next Thursday. The training will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Emergency Preparedness Classroom at Frontier Community College. Participants must complete the online portion of the BLS Instructor Essentials Course before attending and bring proof of completion to class. Attendees must also have a current BLS Provider card. Those who do not have a current provider card may complete the BLS Provider online course and bring both certificates to the training. Officials note that students who do not provide proof of online course completion will not be allowed to participate in the in-person session. The cost is $25 for BLS Instructor training and $25 for BLS Provider training. There is no provider fee for participants who already hold a current BLS Provider card. Payment is due at the time of class, and participants are responsible for any online course fees.
