WAYNE COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPUTIES ARREST SEVERAL OVER THE WEEKEND

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department arrested several individuals over the weekend. On Friday, deputies arrested John W. Cone, Jr., 45, of Fairfield, on a Wayne County warrant for Aggravated Battery using a firearm, device, or motor vehicle. Cone was booked into the Wayne County Jail and released with a notice to appear in court on July 26th.

Early Saturday morning, Wayne County Deputies responded to reports of an accident involving a side-by-side at 2145 County Road 750 N. Following their investigation, Tristen E. Wilson, 28, of Albion, was arrested on a charge of Aggravated DUI resulting from an accident involving great bodily harm. Wilson was transported to the Wayne County Jail, where he is being held until a first appearance in Wayne County Circuit Court.

Haley N. Morgan, 30, of Fairfield, was arrested Saturday evening on a Wayne County warrant for Violation of Pretrial Release on a previous conviction of Possession of Methamphetamine. Morgan was transported to the Wayne County Jail pending an August 4th court appearance.

On Sunday, Mitchell O. Lowery, 22, of Woodlawn, was arrested on a Wayne County warrant for Failure to Appear on a previous charge of Criminal Damage to Property. Lowery was transported to the Wayne County Jail, where he awaits an August 4th court appearance.
