The Illinois Eastern Community Colleges Board of Trustees met Tuesday at Wabash Valley College, approving a new trustee appointment and several personnel actions.
The board appointed Esther Cha to fill a vacant seat on the Board of Trustees. Trustees also elected Susan Batchelor to serve as Secretary Pro Tempore.
The board approved the following employment appointments:
Marsha Foshee as Math Instructor at Olney Central College, effective August 12th.
Laura Nead as Math Instructor at Wabash Valley College, effective August 12th.
James Sigler as STEM Dean of Instruction at Wabash Valley College, effective July 27th.
Stewart Cramer as Director of Performing Arts at Lincoln Trail College, effective July 27th.
Paul Manhart as Custodian at Lincoln Trail College, effective July 27th.
Theressa Thacker as Custodian at Lincoln Trail College, effective July 27th.
Trustees also ratified the resignations of Jack Knittle, Math Instructor at Wabash Valley College, effective August 4th; Danyelle Ayres, Director of ICAPS and Instruction and Transition at Frontier Community College, effective June 30th; and Jesus Gonzales, Head Men’s and Women’s Soccer Coach at Lincoln Trail College, effective July 15th.
The board’s next regular meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 18th at 6:15 p.m. at Olney Central College.
