Young golfers from across Wayne County are invited to participate in the Fairfield Junior Golf Scramble on Monday, August 10th at the Fairfield Public Golf Course.
The event is open to all Wayne County junior golfers ages 18 and under, and there is no entry fee. A rain date has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 11th, if needed.
Participants should arrive at the golf course by 7:30 a.m., when putting contests for both the high school and grade school divisions will begin. The junior scramble is scheduled to tee off at 8 a.m.
Registration must be completed at the Fairfield Public Golf Course no later than the day before the tournament.
Lunch will be provided by DiMaggio’s for all players, volunteers, and one accompanying adult with each junior golfer.
Door prizes will be awarded during lunch, and organizers say every golfer will receive a prize.
