(Ashburn, VA) — The wife of Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy is recovering from serious injuries after allegedly being shot by the couple’s son. Loudon County, Virginia authorities say 27-year-old Elijah Bieniemy is facing malicious wounding and firearms charges. He’s accused of shooting 57-year-old Mia Bieniemy in the chest and arm at their home on Sunday night. Eric Bieniemy left Chiefs’ training camp in Missouri after receiving word of the shooting.

(Indianapolis, IN) — Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones says he’ll be full-speed when training camp opens this week. Jones told The Pat McAfee Show that he has been cleared for 11-on-11 drills in time for the team’s first practice tomorrow. The 29-year-old is playing on a two-year, 88-million-dollar contract he signed in the offseason. He was having a breakout campaign last year before suffering a broken fibula and then tearing his Achilles.
