St. Louis Cardinals 3, Chicago Cubs 2 10 Innings
The St. Louis Cardinals snapped their 3-game losing streak with a 3-2 comeback victory over the Chicago Cubs in 10 innings on Wednesday night. The Cardinals and Cubs went into the 10th inning scoreless, but Chicago took the lead in the top of the inning on a 2-run home run by Pete Crow-Armstrong. The Cardinals answered back with a fielder’s choice by Jordan Walker that scored one run. The Cardinals Ivan Herrera then hit a 2-run double to give St. Louis the walk-off victory. The teams will meet again this afternoon at 1:15 for the final game of their 4-game series.
