North Wayne Community Unit School District #200 has announced registration dates and other important information for the upcoming 2026-27 school year.
Online registration for the 2026-27 school year will take place today (Monday) through August 11th. In-person registration will be held August 10th and 11th at each student’s school building.
District officials also announced the district has again been approved to continue participation in the Community Eligibility Provision, or CEP, program. As a result, all students in the district will continue receiving free breakfast and lunch during the 2026-27 school year.
The school calendar will begin with teacher institute days on August 12th and 13th. The first student attendance day is scheduled for August 14th with a 2:15 p.m. dismissal. Students will also dismiss at 2:15 p.m. each day during the first full week of school, August 17th-21st.
Open house dates have also been announced. Mt. Erie Grade School will host its open house August 12th from 4:30 to 6 p.m., while Johnsonville Grade School will hold its event August 12th from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Open houses for Cisne Middle School and Cisne High School are scheduled for August 19th from 5 to 6 p.m.
