The Hope Center in Albion is inviting area residents 55 years of age and older to participate in its Senior Grocery Program on Wednesday.
The program will begin at 9 a.m. at the Hope Center, located at 23 West Cherry Street in Albion.
A variety of grocery items will be available, including canned goods, oatmeal, tuna, spaghetti, RC products, and other pantry staples to help seniors stretch their grocery budgets.
Groceries will be distributed free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis to the first 30 seniors in attendance.
Hope Center organizers say the program is designed not only to provide food assistance but also to offer fellowship, encouragement, and support to members of the community.
The Senior Grocery Program is offered at no cost to eligible participants.
