If you’ve been holding onto a unique collection of antiques or vintage treasures, you could have the opportunity to appear on national television.
The History Channel’s American Pickers will be filming in Illinois and Iowa this September and is searching for private collectors with unique antiques, vintage items, memorabilia, and other hidden treasures. Producers are looking for individuals with interesting collections and the stories behind them who may be interested in selling pieces featured on the show.
The casting team is especially interested in collections of vintage signs, classic toys, old advertising memorabilia, automotive collectibles, family heirlooms, and other one-of-a-kind items.
Producers are seeking private collectors and are not looking for antique stores, flea markets, museums, or other public businesses.
Anyone interested in being considered should submit their name, phone number, city and state, photos of their collection, and a brief description of their antiques or collectibles.
Submissions may be emailed to americanpickers@cineflix.com or interested individuals can call 646-493-2184 for more information.
Show producers encourage anyone with hidden treasures and a compelling story to apply before the September filming begins.
