The Wayne County Farm Bureau and Wabash Valley Service Company are inviting area farmers to attend the 2026 Nutrient Loss Inhibitor Demonstration Plot Field Day on Thursday, August 20th.
The event will begin at 5 p.m. at the Fred Blessing Farm and will focus on nutrient loss inhibitors and improving nutrient use efficiency.
This year’s demonstration plot highlights the use of humic acid across varying split applications of nitrogen, providing farmers with an opportunity to learn about current research and management practices.
A ribeye dinner will be served, and the program will feature presentations from Mike Wilson, Jay Tharp, John Pike, and Dr. Sonjay Sofat. The keynote speaker will be Michael Clark, CEO and co-founder of BAM Weather.
Farmers planning to attend are asked to RSVP by August 13th. Registration information is available online at waynecfb.com/nlid.
