MULTIPLE GUILTY PLEAS ENTERED IN WAYNE COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT

Several defendants entered guilty pleas in Wayne County Circuit Court in recent proceedings.

Jason Reich, 46, of Mt. Vernon pleaded guilty to Obstructing Justice, a Class 4 felony. He was sentenced to two years of probation, ordered to pay court costs, and received a stayed 90-day Wayne County Jail sentence if he violates probation. As part of a plea agreement, one charge and one case were dismissed.

William Walker Jr., 41, of Enfield pleaded guilty to Criminal Damage to Property. He was sentenced to one year of conditional discharge, assessed court costs, and received credit for two days served in the Wayne County Jail. He was also ordered to pay $100 in restitution to Cornerstone Church in Fairfield and prohibited from entering the church property. One charge was dismissed under the plea agreement.

Kendra Vanscyoc, 28, of Mattoon pleaded guilty to Retail Theft. She was sentenced to one year of conditional discharge, ordered to pay court costs, and $258 in restitution to Walmart.

James Roy, 37, of Mt. Vernon pleaded guilty to Unlawful Violation of a Stalking No Contact Order, a Class A misdemeanor. He was sentenced to one year of conditional discharge and court costs. One case was dismissed as part of the plea agreement.

Lance Joslin, 48, of Fairfield pleaded guilty to Reckless Conduct, a Class A misdemeanor. He was sentenced to one year of conditional discharge, ordered to pay court costs, and directed to have no contact with the victim. Three additional cases were dismissed under the plea agreement.
