Frontier Community College is encouraging prospective students to explore careers in healthcare through its Medical Lab Technician (MLT) Program.
The program prepares students for a vital role in the medical field by providing hands-on laboratory training and real-world experience. Medical lab technicians analyze blood, urine, and other body fluid samples, perform laboratory tests that help detect disease and monitor patient health, operate and maintain specialized laboratory equipment, and provide accurate results that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients.
College officials say the program offers students the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in healthcare while gaining practical experience in a laboratory setting.
