A 62-year-old Albion man pleaded guilty to a theft charge Tuesday in Wayne County Circuit Court.
Gerald Amerman pleaded guilty to the Class A misdemeanor and was sentenced to two years of probation plus court costs.
Amerman was also ordered to stay away from the victim’s premises and pay $500 in restitution.
He was given credit for three days previously served in the Wayne County Jail.
