Mt. Vernon Festivals, Inc. has announced the theme for the 2026 Mt. Vernon Fall Fest, scheduled for September 25-26.
This year’s theme, “Stars, Stripes & Autumn Nights,” will celebrate America’s 250th birthday while highlighting the traditions and community spirit of the annual Southern Illinois festival.
The newly unveiled logo incorporates red, white and blue elements, stars and stripes. Organizers say the patriotic theme will be featured throughout the festival with decorations, entertainment, activities and special recognitions honoring America’s history.
Mt. Vernon Festivals President Jason Hulbert said the anniversary provides an opportunity to recognize generations of Americans while bringing the community together for the annual celebration.
Fall Fest traditionally draws thousands of visitors to Mt. Vernon and features live entertainment, food vendors, arts and crafts, family activities and community exhibits.
