The annual Wayne County Historical Society picnic will be held Thursday at 6 p.m. at Leo French Park in Fairfield.
The meal is open to Historical Society members and their guests. Meat, drinks and table service will be provided, and those attending are asked to bring a side dish or dessert to share.
Due to the ongoing Farmers Market, this year’s picnic will be held at the Turkey Run shelter on the east side of the lake near the large playground.
Those attending may enter the park through the yellow gate on the east side along Enterprise Road and drive to the picnic area.
