Bakers of all ages will have an opportunity to put their skills to the test during the Fairfield Fall Fun Fest Baked Goods Contest on Saturday, September 19th.
The contest will be held at the Chamber Building, with registration from 10 a.m. until noon. Judging results will be announced at 1:30 p.m.
Categories will include pies, cookies, breads, cakes and cupcakes, along with an “other” category. Cookies and cupcakes should be entered by the half-dozen.
Judging will be based on presentation and taste, with one entry allowed per person. Contestants of all ages will compete as one group.
The overall first-place winner will receive $40, second place will receive $30 and third place will receive $20. Winners will also receive gift cards from several area businesses. Honorable mentions will be awarded in both adult, ages 18 and older, and youth, ages 17 and younger, divisions.
The contest is sponsored by Fairfield Save-A-Lot and is part of the 2026 Fairfield Fall Fun Fest.
