A felony aggravated battery charge against former West Frankfort Community High School Principal Aaron Hill has been dismissed after he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor battery charge.
Williamson County court records show prosecutors dismissed the Class 3 felony aggravated battery charge on July 15. Hill pleaded guilty the same day to an added Class A misdemeanor charge of battery involving physical contact.
Hill was sentenced to 24 months of court supervision.
He had originally been charged with aggravated battery in a public place and appeared in Williamson County Circuit Court several times as the case proceeded.
Hill’s court supervision remains in effect, with a review hearing scheduled for July 17, 2028.
